Paris Day Two Sunday Three
Upon leaving the Lourve, we walked north-west through the Jardin de Carrousel and the Jardin de Tuileries. That's where we saw the Obelisque on the Place de la Concorde. This afforded a great view of the Eiffel Tower. We left Concorde up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. After a brief rain shower, we got some great shots of the Arc and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

After a brief rain, we got some great shots of the Arc de Triomphe at dusk.
12 different streets meet at the Arc de Triomphe. Here's a black and white of the Champs Elysees from the Arc.
The lights around the Arc helped in getting good shots of the Eiffel Tower at night.
The open space allowed you a great view of the Eiffel Tower. We'd go up there on Tuesday.
The open space on Place Charles de Galle had great views of Paris. Jason with the Eiffel Tower in the back.
Got some funky shots of the Arc with the new camera. Here's me with a sepia look.
The Arc de Triomphe at Place Charles de Gaulle
After our walk up the Champs Elysees and the time we spent at the Arc de Triomphe, we were ready for some food and a couple of beers. Being Sunday, we also wanted to watch some NFL football. We'd like to thank the Hotel Balzac for giving us info on The Bowler, an English pub that showed NFL football. We enjoyed pub grub and met some Brits while we watched the Bronco/Patriot game. After a Metro train home, we found that the bar two doors down from our hotel had the game too! A nightcap there ended the second day of our tour.
